Workshop Details:
Rollovers produce 10,000 motor vehicle fatalities annually and three times as many catastrophic injuries. Rollover casualties have increased with the greater use of light trucks, such as SUV’s, as passenger vehicles. At present rollover fatalities occur at a rate six times those of frontal crashes and three times the rate of serious injuries in any other crash. Mr. Friedman believes that increased product liability defect litigation can be effective in getting the automakers to fix the problem. Workshop attendance is essential to effectively litigate a rollover case to settlement or thru trial, independent of your choice of experts. Many advocates and experts have already been briefed, and cooperate on Mr. Friedman’s systems analysis approach. During the workshop we will discuss and answer questions to help you better understand the scientifically and visually compelling experimental evidence regarding rollover accidents. We will discuss our current efforts on specific, low severity dynamic rollover roof strength testing which proves defect and causation. If time permits, we will discuss how this research affects the strategy, proofs and exhibits of participants’ cases and will address their questions and issues.
